Fillers

As people age, the face loses volume and the skin loses its elasticity. Fillers can be used to address some of these issues. Filler is a synthetic version of the hyaluronic acid that is found naturally in the skin.

Filler is administered by our physicians and injected below the skin to smooth the appearance of folds, wrinkles, smile lines, and volume loss.  With the use of fillers we are able to create a natural more youthful appearance.

Recovery time is minimal. Results are immediately noticeable and can last up to one to two years.

About the Procedure

A very small needle is used to inject the filler below the upper layer of skin.  Most patients feel a quick pinch and possible burning sensation during the injection.  A topical anesthetic is used to reduce discomfort.

The results are visible immediately and are enhanced over the next 2 weeks.
